Cyclone of masks was restrained down people. Lockdown 4.0 in India was a major inspiration for this project where wildlife was roaming the streets carefree and mankind got confined up inside.
This sculpture is a result of newspapers and the way the Indian media handled the situation by toying with and uploading images of babies who were sobbing and wailing from hunger and migration. Between April and May, Delhi, India, was subjected to a punishing fourth wave of Covid-19 infections that overflowed the healthcare system, overloaded the medical community, and caused crematoriums to run out of room.
Access to public transportation was unavailable. Despite the fact that many people passed away from heat exposures and accidents, periodically, some tales made national headlines, such as the one about the 15-year-old girl who rode her bicycle 1,200 kilometers in 10 days from a slum in Delhi to Bihar state while carrying her disabled father on the back. It is still one of the few pandemic-era Indian tales to highlight a little girl's bravery.
